The Tunics – Cost of Living

They may have the most tediously Libertine influenced moniker of many a British guitar act around, but this Croyden lot are a tad more interesting than your average indie lot. Sinister vocals provide a necessary edge that makes them just about bearable. Well, they’re better than Boy Kill Boy.

The Accidental – Wolves

Tales of drunken blokes on the search for whatever action they can get on a Friday night shouldn’t sound this brooding and beautiful, yet Sam Genders sounds as soulful and delicate as Guy Garvey, and provides Wolves the tenderness to make it a most enchanting listen.
